Main-Drain, Blower and Automation Scope Assessment in Bradenton
June 2026

Problem: The main-drain line pulled dry when opened after a spa had been added to the pool. The property also needed a spa blower, bubbler-valve actuator setup and a review of the automation programming.

Diagnosis: The main drain had a newer three-inch line from prior construction, but the pool-side suction connection was uncertain. Before removing deck material to water-jet a new line, the technician recommended camera inspection to determine whether the existing line had been capped during the earlier work.

Recommendation: The proposed scope included camera verification of the main-drain path, installation of a 1.5-horsepower blower, setup of the bubbler valve actuators, and confirmation that the automation system was programmed correctly.

Hayward Control-System Fuse Failure Diagnosed in Bradenton
March 2026

Problem: The pool control system repeatedly opened the 25-amp fuses that protect the control board.

Diagnosis: The technician consulted Hayward support while tracing the electrical fault. The manufacturer-directed first repair was replacement of the power-supply board.

Recommendation: The main printed circuit board was identified as the next component to replace only if the fuse failure continued after the power-supply board was changed. The record documents the staged diagnostic plan and does not imply either board had already been installed.

Automation Water-Temperature Sensor Recalibrated in Bradenton
February 2026

Problem: The heater display, automation panel and actual spa-water temperature did not agree while the system was operating in spa mode.

Diagnosis: The technician compared the automation reading with the measured spa-water temperature and found the heater's own sensor only two to four degrees different.

Work completed: The automation panel's temperature sensor reading was recalibrated to match the measured spa-water temperature. The heater's smaller remaining difference was recorded as acceptable during the visit.
