ODESSA POOL REMODELING

Pool Remodeling & Resurfacing in Odessa

Investigate recurring water loss before treating the pool as a purely cosmetic project. A remodeling consultation can coordinate confirmed repairs with resurfacing, tile replacement and the improvements you want to make. Florida Pool Tech provides pool remodeling in Odessa.

Some goals call for a new pool design rather than a finish update. Discuss the intended shape, entry and features before choosing construction. Site access and the desired equipment belong in that early comparison.

Pool Remodeling & Renovation

New finishes should not be treated as a diagnosis for unexplained water loss. Establish whether leak testing or repair is needed before settling the renovation sequence, and keep each part of the scope identifiable.

A coordinated backyard plan starts with intended use. Review seating areas, lighting and optional outdoor features together so the pool renovation and adjacent work have clear boundaries and a practical sequence.

Odessa Pool Remodeling Case Studies

Repeated Skimmer Patches and Loose Raised-Wall Tile Assessed in Odessa
February 2026

Problem: An Odessa pool had a leak at the skimmer entrance and tile starting to fall from the raised wall.

Diagnosis: Inspection found numerous earlier patches in the skimmer throat, including an existing patch that had begun leaking again. The leak report recorded the wall fittings, plumbing and main drain as free of leaks during the inspection.

Solution: The leaking skimmer area received a temporary two-part epoxy patch.

Result: The closeout documents the temporary sealing work at the leaking patch.

Recommendation: The technician recommended skimmer replacement and consideration of a pool remodel because of the skimmer's condition and the loose raised-wall tile.

Planning Your Project

For your Odessa project, separate the repairs you need from the improvements you want. Review the selected materials, preparation, exclusions and completion responsibilities in the proposal.
